He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. - Ecclesiastes 3:11, NIV

NEPAL: Lay-Over in Singapore

Hello friends and family!

If you are receiving this e-mail, it is because someone on the Second
Baptist Church Nepal mission team has requested for you to receive our
team updates. :-)
You are kindly welcome to respond, as I *should* be able to deliver
the messages to respective team members. I'm not sure of the Internet
connection in Nepal, or if my iPhone will work, but we'll find out!
It does not cost anything for you to e-mail messages to the team
members, as I get them on my phone for no charge.

Now, down to the good stuff! We are indeed in Singapore! Praise the
Lord! It's been a long journey so far, and still 5 more hours in the
lay-over and one more flight to go. We all just took a shower, and
feel refreshed! A lot of us are already tired, as the last flight was
20 hours! lol So please pray for us to have energy, to be energized,
and with minimal fatigue.

In flight, many of us have been studying our bible lessons as a number
of us will be teaching once we arrive at the churches in Nepal.
Myself and Derek will be teaching on prayer, and then I will be
teaching separately on "How to share your faith" to a group of
Nepalis... please pray that it is Him teaching them, and not me, I
just want to be His humble vessel in the field. The rest of the team
will be teaching on various topics as well. Danny will be teaching
the gathered pastors in Nepal on many pastoral training topics. I
believe we are also heading to the clinic the next day to administer
medical needs and play with the local kids.

It's been such a long journey so far, and many of us were discussing
how God has already been working in many of us in a vast number of
ways - and we aren't even there yet! lol For me personally, God is
teaching me a lot about being in a season of joy and also trusting Him
for everything. So many of the lessons we are teaching have ended up
being so personal to us, which makes the lessons fresh for us to give
to those who are hungry to learn from Him.

On a more humorous note, many of us are in a delirium from no sleep,
lol, and even as I write this I hope it makes sense! They have these
awesome little luggage "smart cart" type things here, so some us
decided to race.... exactly, a sleep deprived crowd, anything seems
fun at 3 am in Singapore! lol

Well, in closing for this short message, I sincerely appreciate you
joining us in this journey and committing to pray for us. We are all
praying for you while we are here, and know God is so big - He works
through the unexpected, and has a soft spot in His heart for the
least, the last, and the lost. Please pray the hearts of the Nepali
people are open to hearing of His love and grace. You are a blessing
to us! Thank you and hope to write again soon!

Blessings,
Kristina

ps - please forward this on to any who may not be on the list, the
Internet connection is acting up, so it's not letting me send to the
group I had made to receive these updates. :-) Thank you!!
